After 5 years of existence, it's with deep regret that we have to announce the end of support for the Droid Automation app for Android.
Please understand that we didn't take this decision lightly, but we have to realize that it's becoming more and more difficult to keep up with the Android updates and the annual restrictions forced on developers as well.
The future of Android seems to be moving towards more limitations for developers and less choice for users. Unfortunately, we believe that this situation will not improve and may render apps like Droid Automation unusable.
This is why we prefer to devote our energy and our efforts to other projects that are more sustainable.
As Droid Automation is no longer compliant with the new rules, we will remove it from the Play Store in order to avoid a global ban on our developer account.
However, we want to reassure our users, if you have already downloaded the app, you can still access it on your account and we are also considering releasing a standalone version directly on our website wakdev.com.
